Shoe Swap now open

The Show Swap doors are open. What does that mean for the YME students, school, and community? If your student is participating in a YME school-sponsored sport and needs to upgrade their shoes to a bigger size, they can bring their gently used, clean, too small shoes in and swap them for a bigger size. No more rushing to the nearest “city” store or crossing your fingers while you wait for an online order to arrive. “Think of it as a community shoe closet”, said Erica Martin. Follow the Shoe Swap on Facebook or Instagram at SwapAPair. Organizers may put out requests as needed for specific sport shoe or shoe sizes.

Much of central, west central and northern Minnesota were in the single digits to low double-digits above zero for overnight low temperatures. We did see temperatures warm up into the lower 40s for highs on Monday out ahead of our next system that arrived late Tuesday.
