Sting defeat Canby, TMB

Last Tuesday, the YME baseball team defeated Canby in an away game 12-0. Leaders in the game included Nikson Knapper who went 2-for-3 with a walk, stolen base, three runs, and an RBI. Complete scoring from that game follows:

New York man makes stop in Granite Falls on cycling trip around the United States

Last August, Bob Barnes of Syracuse, New York, packed up his belongings to store at his brother’s home, gave up his apartment and his job as an Uber driver, and took off on his second big adventure. The first was a bicycle ride around the country done four years ago in which he managed a trek totaling roughly 5,800 miles. For this trip, Barnes planned an even more challenging journey - one that would bring him back and forth across the country multiple times in an effort to visit the state capital of all fifty states, for a total of approximately 16,300 miles, all on bicycle. He’s titled the trip “Great American Triple Switchback”. Barnes says that a trip like this has never been done in the past.

Ronald Kleven, 86, of Springfield died on May 18, 2022, at Sleepy Eye Care Center in Sleepy Eye. Visitation was on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 12:30 to 2 p.m.

I’m a list maker. Every surface of my desks is covered in lists, the notes app in my phone has seven or eight lists going at any time, there’s lists in notes on my laptop, and even sometimes, lists are written in ink on the steering wheel of my car (yes, this drives my husband nuts). It also drives my sister nuts that I don’t consolidate all lists onto the notes app on my phone, where I could keep my life more in order. She fails to recognize that this chaotic collection of lists IS my version of organized.
