Last Friday, the Yellow Medicine East Parent Teacher Organization hosted a Father/Daughter Dance with a “sockhop” theme in the Bert Raney Elementary Gymnasium. The event was held for BRE students in Kindergarten through 5th grade, and was organized by volunteers who helped with concessions, making bars, registration, running the DJ booth, taking photos, running games and prizes, set up and take-down. The dance has not been held for the last couple of years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event featured snacks, raffle prizes, a photo booth, and, of course, dancing. There was a freewill offering at the door. Photos Submitted
