“…because there was no place…” (Matthew 2:7)

“And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in bands of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no place in the guest room” (Matthew 2:7). This is the verse on my mind tonight. It’s almost Christmas and I’m still deep in thought about what it really means to have a God that loves me so much that this God became human and was willing to die for me so that I might live. Sometimes it’s just so overwhelming it’s hard to breathe.
