The following students graduated after the summer and fall 2023 semesters at South Dakota State University.
Red Flag issued for extreme fire risk multiple times over the last week
Nearly every day last week, the National Weather Service issued a Red Flag Warning for several counties in southwest Minnesota due to extreme fire risk conditions.Affected counties include Cottonwood, Jackson, Lincoln, Lyon, Murray, Nobles, Pipestone, and Rock.A Red Flag Warning means fires can spread quickly and easily progress out of control under the predicted weather conditions, including very dry conditions, low relative humidity, and strong wind.
