I am Kiona Hermanson, Community Health Strategist for Countryside Public Health (CPH). You might be asking, what is a Community Health Strategist and what do I do? Great questions! A Community Health Strategist plays a pivotal role within a local public health agency by leading efforts to improve the overall health and well-being of the community. This role involves assessing local health needs, identifying social determinants of health, and developing strategies to address health disparities within our communities. Another questions you might be asking is what are “social determinants of health”? Social determinants of health are the conditions in which people are born, grow, live, work, and age. Pioneer Power elects new officers

Pioneer Power is gearing up for the 50th year of the Pioneer Power Threshing Show in 2025. The annual event is held in Hanley Falls on the grounds of Minnesota’s Machinery Museum in August. The new officers are (left to right) President Mark Antony, Vice President Curt Anton, Secretary Jeff Strand, Treasurer Shannon Johnson and Registration Coordinator Kim Jeppesen.
