News from Countryside Public Health: Facts about well water, radon and mold…

The Environmental Health Team at Countryside Public Health is at work behind the scenes to help keep our communities safe and healthy! As Environmental Health Specialists, we are tasked with the regular inspections of restaurants, bars, pools, campgrounds, hotel/motels, and other facilities; to ensure the safety of the facility users. Our team also inspects special event food stands to promote food safety during community events. We are also serve as a resource for our communities on a variety of health topics such as; drinking water testing, radon, mold and many other concerns.

I’ve always found it interesting that the Apostle Paul never tells his “conversion story.” We know how it happened, because Luke wrote it in Acts. Luke tells us when the severe persecution began against the church in Jerusalem, the apostles were out spreading the Good News of Christ, and Paul was searching for ways to bring the believers of Jesus back to Jerusalem for punishment and death.
