Last week, the Yellow Medicine East Girls Varsity Softball team took on Russell-Tyler-Ruthton in a close-fought game, ending with a 7-8 loss. Leaders in the game included Ella Cherveny who was 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a run. Complete scoring follows:
In previous articles, I have been writing about the different types of dementia. According to the Alzheimer’s Association, there are 11 different major types of dementia – however as we have learned, there are then different variants / sub-types under those 11 major types. In fact, dementia expert Teepa Snow claims in total there are over 120 different types, causes and forms of dementia. For our purposes, I think we will stick with just some of the most common types!
A weekend of celebration of Mother’s Day often includes a celebration of my birthday that sometimes happens to fall on Mother’s Day itself. That means my lucky kids get out of having to be very kind to their mother on two separate days sometimes. Because this years birthday fell on the day after Mother’s Day, my son celebrated both in one, showing up at my house to tell me I needed to go outside and see what my gift was because it was in the trunk of his car.
