On Friday, May 30th, students at the YME Middle/High School celebrated the final day of school with a day of tennis matches, capture the flag, a trip to Rice Park and a dunk tank where students had the opportunity to dunk their favorite staff member.
Last week, Yellow Medicine East High School hosted the 11th annual Cords and Awards Ceremony to recognize student accomplishments from the 2024-25 school year. Honors awarded included the Archie Bush Foundation Legacy Scholarship Recipients, Lions Club Honors, Minnesota Honor Society Members, Craftsman of the Year, Most Outstanding Student winners, senior class honor roll awards, and the official recognition of the class of 2025 Valedictorian and Salutatorian.
ECHO Charter School celebrated Marsha Lecy’s retirement with a cake, cards and gift on Friday, May 30th. Lecy taught at ECHO for 25 years in various elementary classes and was lead elementary teacher and the school’s literacy expert.
A total of 24 WISSOTA Late Models came to Fiesta City Speedway for the WISSOTA Late Model Challenge Series.
Youth from across Minnesota are invited to demonstrate their crop science skills at the 2025 Minnesota 4-H/FFA Crop Scouting Contest, scheduled for Monday, July 28, on the University of Minnesota’s St. Paul Campus.
