Last Wednesday, the Poetry Bus rolled into Granite Falls on the collective’s first stop on a week-long journey through the southwest Minnesota region. The group of four Minnesota based poets wrote poems for visitors to their booth at the Farmer’s Market Wednesday morning, and at the Granite Area Arts Council in the evening. The collective includes Wudali, Michael Kleber-Diggs, Athena Kildegaard, and Su Love. Each comes from a different part of the state and brings their own voice to the effort. While three currently live in the Twin Cities, Wudali is originally from Minneota and Kildegaard is based near Morris, giving the collective strong ties to rural Minnesota.
