Savannah GeorgeAnn was born on July 27, 2004, at Granite Falls to Maranda Mulligan. She was baptized as a baby at First English Lutheran Church in Sacred Heart. As a young girl she was perfect in her own way and extremely outgoing. She won first place several times at local tractor pedal pulls. Savannah attended school and most recently was enrolled at Echo Charter School taking online courses. She was looking forward to graduating next year for her mom and grandma, only having three more credits to complete.
Savannah was looking forward to getting a babysitting job for the summer and had been a home health care giver for Cassidy Jones before her passing. It was this sweet relationship that started Savannah’s love for unicorns and also made her want to find a career in helping those with Krabbe disease.
Savannah was one of a kind. She loved her morning coffee with French vanilla creamer, Fanta pink drink and Dairy Queen cheese curds. Savannah’s kindness came straight from her heart. She was the biggest cheerleader, defender of the underdog and hated bullies. The times she got in trouble were only when she was standing up for another, even a complete stranger she would fight for. Savannah noticed people and would go out of her way to befriend and make others feel good. She loved listening to music, watching movies or her favorite show, The Secret Life of a Teenager. Savannah fiercely loved her siblings and her purpose in life was to make her grandma proud. She loved spending time with her mom, Maranda and all of her family. She’ll be remembered for her sweet, loving nature and occasionally forgetting to turn on her filter.
Savannah is survived by her mom, Maranda (Brandon) Shubert; father by choice, Angel Fuentes; grandma and mom, Deb (Dale Nelson) Peterson; siblings, Wayne, Searah, Jonnie, Olbin; uncles, Brandon (Jessica) Merrill, Jamie Rice; aunt, Dawn Braun; special cousin, Isabelle; cousins, Timothy, Allyson, Andre; godmother, Nicole Schultz; beloved dog and “daughter,” Cabella; best friend, Gina Reinke; special friends, Mitch Hawk, Nick Friese, Isaiah Diaz, Jesse Schultz; as well as other relatives and friends.
