The Upper Sioux Community and Minnesota Department of Transportation have installed four new signs that read “Peźihutazizi Kapi Makoće”, translated in English below as “Land Where They Dig the Yellow Medicine”, along with Upper Sioux Community’s tribal seal. The signs are located at the borders of Upper Sioux Community, on Highway 167, Hwy 274 and entering Prairie’s Edge Lane. Photo by Jessica Stolen
