Aaron Clifford Reese, 90, of Buffalo and formerly of Granite Falls passed away on Saturday January 7, 2023, at the Buffalo Hospital. He was born on November 8, 1932, in Morton, the son of Clifford E. and Florence (Lothert) Reese.
 Aaron was baptized and confirmed in Morton.
 Aaron honorably served his country in The United States Army serving in the Korean war.
 On September 8, 1957, Aaron Reese and Elaine I. Steinke were united in marriage at St. Johns’s Lutheran Church in Madison. God blessed their marriage with five children.
 Aaron was employed at Plews in Granite Falls for 33 years in the shipping and receiving department where he received an award for never missing a day of work. Aaron also loved music, and played in two bands: the Minnesota Derbbies, and The Polka Wranglers. He also enjoyed playing at numerous barn and wedding dances. Aaron was also very active with his family taking them on vacations when possible and he had a passion for fishing.
 Aaron was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Granite Falls and currently a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Buffalo. Aaron is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Elaine, children Tom Reese of Granite Falls, Greg (Kathleen) Reese of New Palestine, Ind., Deb (Mike) Risa of Clarkfield, Todd (LaRee) of Waverly, Julie (Tim) Gerdes of Breezy Point; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters Lorraine Kohout and Carol (Jim) Seehusen; and sister-in-law Donna Reese; other relatives and friends.
 Preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Stanley and Leland Reese, sister Marlene Kohout, granddaughter Chelsey, and great-granddaughter Lilly.
 A memorial service for Aaron will be held on Friday January 13, 2023, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo with visitation starting at 10 a.m. and service at 11 a.m. Pastor Ryan Clark will officiate.
 A private inurnment at Minnesota Veteran’s Cemetery Camp Ripley.
