Mild temps ahead for the weekend

My wife and I made a trip up north to see Michael Bolton at the Grand Casino Mille Lacs in Onamia on Saturday. We witnessed all the fall colors along the way. Some areas were very vibrant still, but other areas have seen their peak for the season. Across much of central and west central Minnesota, the DNR shows that the colors are at 50% to 70% peak, with again, some locations already at the peak. The best spot to see the fall colors right now are a few pockets in extreme western and southern Minnesota.

It really is an important time and there’s so much information that I could probably fill a page and still wish I had more space. Each year I meet with people who have never participated before and so I’d like to share what happens at the appointment.
