Beyond Reason

An Exchange with the Easter Bunny Early one morning, Rob and the Easter Bunny met in a sunny, dewpearled meadow. The rabbit had a basket of Easter eggs at his side.

“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24)

In the book “The Language of Letting Go” by Melody Beattie she writes, “Enjoying our good days doesn’t mean we’re being disloyal to loved ones who are having problems.” It can be hard to rejoice in a day when there is so much pain. But the psalmist says, “This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” This isn’t a conditional statement. This verse doesn’t say, if everyone is having a good day you can rejoice and be glad also. Minnesota West Community and Technical College to offer two new courses this fall

With the rising demand for healthcare workers throughout the nation, Minnesota West Community & Technical College has been collaborating with our local healthcare partners to expand some of our Allied Health programs to the Granite Falls campus to meet those needs. “We started looking at expanding a couple programs to our Granite Falls location because of the shortage in our northern service area. Live Well, Age Wisely: 5-star Special Enrollment Period

Each year Medicare gives every Advantage plan, Cost plan, and Part D drug plan a rating between one and five stars. A 5-star rating is considered excellent. The stars are assigned on factors including quality and performance of the plan and come from plan details as well as feedback from customer service surveys from beneficiaries and health care providers. The star ratings for the upcoming year are assigned in the fall and are useful during the annual Open Enrollment Period when people are looking at coverage for the upcoming year and wondering if a plan they are considering is any good.

YME Trap team meets in cold, windy conditions

The YME Trap Team shot in freezing, windy conditions Sunday, April 3rd. As you can see, the shooters are bundled up, but they got their rounds in before the snowfall. They shot very well considering and we are very proud of their determination. Safety is always the first priority so when there is a gun jammed, Head Coach Jeff Berthelsen steps right up to the shooter to figure out the issue. Fix or replace what is needed so the athlete can continue to shoot and finish their round. Athletes are not allowed to leave their stations on the field when there is an issue. All athletes enter and leave the field at the same time in formation.
