YME band students honored

This past weekend, Yellow Medicine East band students braved the cold and attended the SWMBDA Honor Band Festival all day in Marshall! These kids were nominated and then selected from forty-nine different schools in Southwest Minnesota. They worked hard over the past two months to prepare some challenging music and performed it with students selected from other schools after working on it all day with guest conductors.
