Residents may notice smoke in homes

The City of Granite Falls recently issued a public notice about smoke testing of the sanitary sewer system that could result in some residents observing smoke entering their homes or place of business.The testing will be done to locate defects and breaks in the sewer system, and will involve opening and entering the manholes in streets and public utility easements.
