Montevideo youth to take the stage in first solo show

About a month ago, Junia Fitzkappes, a 10th grader in Montevideo, played what was to be a quick, five minute opening act for the final show of Malena Handeen’s six-month Bluenose Gopher Public House music residency.

On behalf of the Winter Solstice Committee, we would like to extend a huge thank you to Granite Falls and all the surrounding communities, near and far, for their support of the Winter Solstice event downtown Granite Falls on Dec 21, 2023.We were blessed with such great weather so the turnout was a grand success – with around 300 attendees walking the beautiful streets of Granite Falls!As we wrap up our year, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to so many people and organizations that helped contribute to the 2023 celebration.
