Try not to drink sugar calories. Sugary drinks are among the most fattening items you can put into your body. This is because your brain doesn’t measure calories from liquid sugar the same way it does for solid food Every time you drink a pop, you end up eating more total calories. Sugary drinks are strongly associated with obesity, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and many other health problems. Keep in mind that certain fruit juices may be almost as bad as pop in this regard, as they sometimes contain just as much sugar, but their small amounts of antioxidants do not negate the sugar’s harmful effects.

Vicar of Healing Waters Lutheran Parish, Lutheran Seminary Student George Müller was born in Germany in 1805 (and died in 1898), he was a little troubled in his youth. He got into the bad habits of lying, stealing, and drinking. He stole government funds from his father and the story is that he was out partying with his friends when his mom was dying. He didn’t really care about anything. He ended up arrested and locked up with thieves like himself. Still, he didn’t change. But later, his father—wanting to help him change—sent him to seminary to become a clergyman where he was introduced to the Bible and found a loving God. He was best known for his work with orphans. He not only found ways to provide housing, but also had people show up to educate and train the children for a trade.
