YME girls defeat Dawson-Boyd in home game

Last Tuesday, the Yellow Medicine East girls basketball team took home a Camden Conference victory over Renville County West, 90-50 in Renville. Leaders in the game included Stella Schuler who scored twenty points with six rebounds, while Hannah Stark added 19 points, with a three-pointer, eight rebounds, and six steals to the team total.

Sting look forward to busy week

Yellow Medicine East’s girls basketball team will visit Red Rock Central on Thursday night, before playing host to Lac qui Parie Valley at 6 p.m. Friday at Granite Falls Campus.

My youngest child decided recently that she wanted to become a dog mom. She wanted her very own pet that would be just hers. So when one of her friend’s families adopted a dog for their grandmother, only to find out she didn’t, in fact, want a dog, my child volunteered to re-home the dog. Thus, another rescue animal joined the household, which should probably now be called a zoo.

January is National Blood Donor Month
