Submitted The following students have been named to the 2022 spring semester Dean’s List at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, the university announced today. To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must complete 12 or more letter-graded credits while attaining a 3.66 grade point average.

City discusses ordinance establishing which counties criminal charges will be addressed in

Jessica Stölen-Jacobson Editor jstolen-jacobson@cherryroad.com At the regular monthly meeting of the Granite Falls City Council, the City’s Attorney Jeremy Blackwelder submitted a request for the council to consider a new ordinance to establish a location for criminal cases to be charged. State Statutes currently read that there must be an ordinance in cities that have two separate counties within city limits to clarify in which of the counties the criminal charges will be addressed.
