Joseph Quigley “Joe”, 61, of Granite Falls passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at the Clarkfield Care Center in Clarkfield with his daughter by his side. A celebration of life is being planned.
Joseph Quigley “Joe”, 61, of Granite Falls passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at the Clarkfield Care Center in Clarkfield with his daughter by his side. A celebration of life is being planned.
Coleen Alness, 65, of Clarkfield died peacefully on Sunday, July 3, 2022, at her home. Memorial Services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Living Word Lutheran Church in Marshall. Following a reception, interment was in the Spring Creek Norwegian Lutheran Cemetery, south of Clarkfield. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service, from 10 - 11 a.m., on Saturday, July 9, at the church.

The Academic High Honor and Honor lists (Dean’s lists) for the past spring semester at Minnesota State University, Mankato were announced by interim Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Brian Martensen.
More than 600 graduates were honored during the 2021-2022 academic year at Alexandria Technical & Community College. The spring commencement ceremony was held May 11, 2022 at the Runestone Community Center in Alexandria. Local students graduating are: Cole Mathiowetz, Associate of Applied Science Degree, Law Enforcement, Spring 2022.
