Paywall launched on Advocate Tribune website

The Advocate Tribune’s new website launched on March 1st. The e-edition paywall was down as a part of the transition, has been re-established as of April 26th. Current digital subscribers will need to sign in again and reset their passwords as the Advocate Tribune has transitioned from former owner, Gannett to new owner, CherryRoad Media.

Minnesota’s Machinery Museum annual meeting held

Minnesota’s Machinery Museum in Hanley Falls held its annual meeting Friday evening in the Hanley Falls Fire Hall. The meeting was the first to be held since the COVID-19 pandemic was declared in March of 2020.

Jahn retires from FM Bank

Ruth Jahn is retiring this week from F&M Bank in Clarkfield after twenty-two years with the company. Jahn, an insurance agent and bank receptionist.

Presentation on WPA program given at Minnesota’s Machinery Museum annual meeting

Minnesota photographer Doug Ohman was at the Minnesota’s Machinery Museum annual meeting to provide a presentation titled “The New Deal”. The presentation was of interest, as the school building that now houses the museum was originally constructed as a part of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Works Progress Administration (WPA) projects.
