
Notes from the Granite Area Arts Council: Tiny Village Gets Bigger
In fourth grade, I convinced my friends to put on a “dollhouse show.” We rented a room at the library (well, my mom did), set our houses/furniture on folding tables, and then unrolled the piece de resistance: a massive bolt of green felt that meant we could all have lawns.The goal was not so much showing off our houses as it was the creation of a tiny neighborhood.
