At Monday evening’s meeting of the Yellow Medicine East School Board, one of the topics of discussion was an upcoming work session the Board will engage in in order to look at some of the issues with sewer issues, plumbing issues, tuck point issues, railing issues and more.
At Tuesday morning’s regular meeting of the Yellow Medicine County Board of Commissioners, Veterans Services Officer Kris Holien was in attendance to provide a quarterly update on the department’s happenings.In his report, Holien noted that the Department of Veterans Affairs has released their annual Distribution Expenditure Report for 2022 showing an expenditure of just over $9.9 million in total for Yellow Medicine County’s Veterans.
“Just Granite Falls things, I guess,” I sighed.
On October 15th, Florence Chard Dacey will be holding a reading of poetry from her latest book, “The Mercy of Stone, Poems from Fifty Years” at the Granite Area Arts Council.
