Years ago the phrase, “pushing the envelope” was commonly used to describe when a person would see how far they could go with something without being caught.

I recently was at an event with some clergy colleagues and at the end of the evening, one of them asked if we wanted to play a game called “Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza.” In the game all the cards are dealt out, and a card is placed in the middle, and regardless of what is on the card the first person says “taco”, the next person lays a card and says “cat”, all the way through goat, cheese, pizza.
