Last November, local residents gathered at the Granite Falls American Legion to play extras in a movie scene that was filmed there. Now, an event is planned at the Montevideo Millennium Theater to preview scenes from the movie, watch an exclusive extended trailer and receive updates on the project.

The small town of Maynard put on a big display of fireworks on the 4th of July. The fireworks show was preceded earlier in the day by Maynard’s annual 4th of July parade featuring a number of area floats including the Granite Falls Western Fest royalty.
