Flood risk likely low this year

From Staff ReportsAccording to the National Weather Service’s Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service, the chance for flooding this spring along the Minnesota River is low, with a long-range forecast of above-normal temperatures through the end of April.The report states, “With an atypical winter season, the spring flood potential will also be different compared to other years with a lack of deep cold or snowpack to work with.
