Christmas tree lit for the season

Granite Area Arts Council’s Jessie Hennen held a couple of public workshops last week to help build the second annual Granite Area Arts Council fairy village. Kids and adults alike were welcome to come into the KK Berge building to help with assembly and decoration. The fairy village was set up outside of the art gallery, and the community Christmas tree lighting ceremony was held over the weekend. The tree was sponsored this year by the YES! House, and is located next to the gallery near the walking bridge entrance for visitors to enjoy, along with the Fairy Village throughout the holiday season.

Pick exercises that you enjoy! When you enjoy a sport, you naturally want to do it. Exercise isn’t about suffering and pushing yourself; it’s about being healthy and having fun at the same time. Adding variation in your exercises will keep them interesting!

Conceptual photography exhibit coming to Emerging Artist gallery

Corina Kells, of Madison, has been enthralled with photography since she was a young girl. She is the next artist to be featured in the KK Berge building’s Emerging Artist Gallery at the end of January 2023 through the end of February 2023. Kells grew up in the 1990s and says she was that friend who always had a disposable camera in hand at the ready. Kells reflected fondly about the days gone by when she’d bring the disposable cameras to Thrifty White and the anticipation of getting the developed photos back.
