Wowicakekage: Dakota Art Encoded is on display now through May 7th at the K.K. Berge Gallery in downtown Granite Falls. The art exhibit features the work of Wicanhpi Iyotan Win (Autumn Cavender). There will be an Artist Reception this Thursday, April 7th at 7 p.m. including art showing, snacks, and discussions about bringing traditional art into the digital sphere.

Learning what to do when you become eligible for Medicare can seem overwhelming. This class is for people who will be new to Medicare and would like to learn about Medicare Parts A, B, C and D. Topics will include a comprehensive introduction to Medicare including what Medicare covers, supplemental insurance and Part D prescription coverage. During the class you will learn the Medicare enrollment details, how to get the most from your benefits and how to research your Medicare plan options using the Medicare.gov site.

Bemidji State University Meeghen Dahlager from Granite Falls, MN, earned Dean’s List honors from Bemidji State University in Bemidji, Minn., at the conclusion of the Fall 2021 semester. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, Bemidji State University students must be enrolled for at least 12 credits and earn a minimum of a 3.5 GPA during the semester.

University of Minnesota Twin Cities The following students have been named to the 2021 fall semester Dean’s List at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, the university announced recently. To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must complete 12 or more letter-graded credits while attaining a 3.66 grade point average.
