On Saturday, a Grand Opening celebration was held in the newly renovated Clarkfield State Bank of Art.
Local residents play extras in upcoming film
On Tuesday morning, a crowd of local residents gathered at the Granite Falls American Legion to play extras in a movie scene being filmed there.The film, titled ”Kitchen Fire” has been mostly filmed in Sacred Heart.

In 2017, Clarkfield resident Betsy Pardick purchased her home, and while riding bicycle around town with her son, first noticed the old Clarkfield State Bank building (also known locally as the Miller building).
