The YME girls varsity volleyball team took on Minneota last week for a 0-3 loss. Later in the week, the team defeated Lac qui Parle Valley 3-0. YME plays again on Friday at 7 p.m. against Minneota.
Last week, the Yellow Medicine East Cross Country team traveled to the Cottonwood Country Club for the Camden Conference Championships. The boys team took 8th place with a score of 202. Individual scores follow:

Last week the Yellow Medicine East Varsity Football team took on Minneota at home for a 6-75 loss.
The Yellow Medicine East Girls Volleyball team put up a valiant effort against Renville County West, but ultimately fell short in a three-set match. The final scores were 20-25, 19-25 and 21-25.
Yellow Medicine East’s varsity football team celebrated their first win of the season, a 30-12 victory over Madelia, last Friday. The team led 14-6 at halftime and held off a late rally to improve to 1-5 on the year. The team takes to the field again this Thursday at 7 p.m. at home against Minneota.
