YME Trap Team sports highlights

YME Trap Coach Sandra Berthelsen says that Sunday, May 7th, the fourth week of Conference Competition rounds was an exciting day. “Not only did we get to show off our sponsored businesses banner,” she says. Logan Hoff shoot a perfect score 25/25. This is Logan’s third “25” patch since he started trap shooting. With the next squad, Garrett Cob shot his lettering score of 20/25 for this season. “We could not be shooting on a High School Trap Team if it wasn’t for the MN Heartland Preserve. They put forth the efforts with East Medicine Pheasants Forever, Chippewa County Pheasants Forever, Southwestern Prairie Sportsmans Club, Granite Falls Redi-Mix and Troy’s Electric to build the ranges we shoot on,” Berthelsen says. YME hosts invitational

Last week, Yellow Medicine East Track & Field hosted an invitational, with the girls team taking 5th place with a score of 50.50, and the boys team taking 8th place with a score of 18.
