Girls Cross Country team takes 4th

The Yellow Medicine East Varsity Cross Country teams hosted the Camden Conference Invitational at the Granite Run Golf Course last week. The girls team took home the 4th place spot with a score of 123. The top five scorers for the girls team included: 13th Sanjana Pullan 21:52, 18th Anjeli Pullan 22:20, 32nd Karina Jahn 25:28, 34th Evelyn Martin 25:51, 44th Bella Anderson 29:37.

TRAP season ends on a high note

The Yellow Medicine East TRAP Team ended their season with three of the shooters lettering for the year for the first time since joining TRAP. “It’s not easy to shoot the clays, let alone shoot that lettering score,” says YME Trap coach Sandra Berthelsen. YME Football defeats RTR 32-0

Yellow Medicine East’s Football team defeated Russell-Tyler- Ruthton in Tyler on Friday evening with a final score of 320, bringing the season record to 4-3. The team played again this Wednesday against MACCRAY in a home game. Scores were not available at print time, and will be reported on in next week’s edition of the newspaper.

Last Tuesday, the YME Girls Varsity Volleyball team took on Tracy-Milroy-Balaton in an away game for a final score of 0-3. Leaders in the game included Aria Peters who scored 28 set assists, while Kiara Sakry scored 13 digs, and Ruby Bones scored eleven kills.
