The Yellow Medicine East Boys and Girls Cross Country teams traveled to the Madison Golf Course last Tuesday to take part in the Lac qui Parle Valley/ Dawson-Boyd Invitational. Scoring from that event follows: Individual Top Five (Boys):(57) Dylan Castillo, 22:01.84, (67) Connor Olson 23:08.10.

The Yellow Medicine East Volleyball team defeated Dawson-Boyd in a Camden Conference game last Tuesday 3-2. Scoring from that game follows: YME (4-10) 25 22 25 25 15 D-B (3-8) 15 25 27 20 7 On Thursday the team took on KMS in a home game for a 3-2 victory.

Try to eat more whole foods, this is one thing the popular diet plans can agree on. Overly processed foods have been linked to weight gain, perhaps because many unhealthy packaged foods (think: potato chips, ice cream, frozen pizza, cookies) lack the fiber found in many whole foods, including vegetables.
