Cross Country team travels to first Invitational
The Yellow Medicine East boys and girls Cross Country teams traveled to the Lac qui Parle Valley/ Dawson-Boyd Invitational last Thursday. For the boys team, Dylan Castillo placed 30th with a score of 17:08.17.

YME defeats New Ulm Cathedral
The YME Football team took home a victory in their season opener against New Ulm Cathedral in New Ulm Friday. The team won 27-20 in a close played game. Leaders in that game included Brady Dahlager who rushed 18 times for 169 yards, scoring three touch-downs including a 24-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter for the final score. YME Volleyball takes on Paynesville
The Yellow Medicine East Volleyball team took on the Paynesville Bulldogs in a home game last Tuesday for a loss 0-3. Leaders in the game included Aria Peters who scored 12 assists, two aces and five kills. Gracie Kleven scored another five kills.
Darren Engesser Wins First Track Championship at Fiesta City Speedway
The 2022 racing season came to an end at Fiesta City Speedway. Three champions repeated as champion in their respective divisions.
