Last Tuesday evening, the YME boys basketball team took a 45-80 loss against Russell-Tyler-Ruthton in Granite Falls. Leaders in that game included Owen Torvik, who scored eight points. Additionally, Bryce Sneller and Isaac Jiminez scored six points each toward the team total. Complete scoring from that game follows:

At last weeks Pipestone Triangular, the Quad County Cobras, made up of wrestlers from MACCRAY, Renville County West, and Yellow Medicine East) scored wins with Jasen Jansen (182 pounds), an Jacob Savig (195 pounds). Complete scoring from that Triangular follows:
On Tuesday, January 31st, the YME boys basketball team took on MACCRAY for a 57-64 loss. Stats for that game were not available at print-time. Scoring follows: YME (2-13) 26 31 — 57 MACCRAY (8-11) 34 30 — 64 MINNESOTA
On Friday evening, the Yellow Medicine East Silhouettes participated in the Camden Conference Championship, taking second place in the Jazz Division to Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd. In the High-Kick Division, the Silhouettes took first place. YME All- Conference members in high-kick are Jenna Weir and Kylie Knollenberg.
Last Tuesday, the Yellow Medicine East boys basketball team took on Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg for a 47-77 loss. Leaders in that game included Bryce Sneller who scored 14 points toward the team total. Complete scoring from that game follows:
Over the last week, the Quad County Wrestling team took part in two invites, placing seventh and fifth respectively. The team is made up of wrestlers from MACCRAY, Renville County West and Yellow Medicine East.
There are a couple of weeks left of Crazy 8’s and then Granite Bowl is taking a break to get the scoring up. Granite Bowl is always looking for more bowlers. Check out the Granite Bowl’s Facebook page for more information and updates.
