Jean (Obear) Hinrichs, born August 20, 1945, aged 77 years, died November 5, 2022, in her home in Darien, Wisc.
 She attended Granite Falls Schools from grades 1-12 and graduated from Granite Falls High School. She later went on to receive her C.P.A., which she used as partner in the conservation company with her husband in Wisconsin.
 Jean is survived by her husband, Max Hinrichs, formerly of Wood Lake, and her daughter, Heather, as well as all of her siblings: Rene’ Obear of California and Florida, Mona Aubert, Kim, Kathie and Keith Wegner, all of Texas, Peggy Obear of Florida and Susan (Matt) Fiene of Wisconsin.
 She was preceded in death by her parents: Florence D. (Monson) Wegner and Howard L. Obear, Jr. , and by her two children, Peter and Molly Hinrichs, who died as young children after long illnesses spent at Granite Falls Manor, where Jean cared for them every day.
