Louis Clem (Louie) Roden, 88, of Granite Falls and formerly of Albertville, Monticello and Clear Lake, was called to our loving God on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Granite Falls Care Center. He was born on May 31, 1934, in Albertville, son of Louis and Anna (Koch) Roden. In 1958, he married his wife Yvonne (Barthel). God blessed their marriage with five children. He was a hard worker and strong family man. He enjoyed children, animals, and spending time outdoors.
 Louie is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne Roden; five children, Lynn (Steve) Zimmerman, Jeanie (Pete) Knudsen, Mary Jo (Brad) Bakken, Rick (Kathy) Roden, and Peggy (Mark) Frederickson; nine grandchildren, Michael (Stephanie) Zimmerman, Katelyn (John) Underwood, Jared Bakken, Becca (Scott) Doerthy, Tara (Justin) Tongen, Danielle (Adam) Koepke, Kali (Zack) Templin, Lexi Knudsen and Nicole Frederickson; nine great-grandchildren, Hadley, Jackson, Natalie, Jennessa, Kai, Jake, Jameson, Madilynn and Lily; brother, Gregory (Teresa) Roden, and other relatives.
 Preceded in death by parents, Louis and Anna Roden; brothers, Daniel and John Roden; infant sister, Dorothy Roden; sisters, Rosemary Roden, Viola Roden, Bernadette Barthel, Ruth Otremba, Valeria Kolles and Margaret Heinen.
 Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 12 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Granite Falls.
