New London area artist Sonja Madsen hosted an Art Salon Artists Dialogue and Demo as a part of her artists residency through the River Valley Ripple program, new to the Department of Public Transformation. The three week residency was Madsen’s first experience with an artist’s residency. Madsen is the second artist to stay at the YES! House while providing interactive arts projects and discussions with the community as a part of the program’s new art residency opportunity. The next artist in residence begins March 4th when Betsy Pardick moves into the Yes! House to begin her residency with a planned Artist Salon to be held March 15th for the public.
