The 37th Annual Community Health Fair will be held on Thursday, April 6 at the “Kilowatt Community Center” in Granite Falls from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm. This years’ theme is “Good to Go from Head to Toe”. The event will host a variety of health information for people within the community to have free and available to you.
Some of the booths that you may find interesting include: from Granite Falls Health: Home Care with checking of blood sugars and blood pressures; Ambulance Services focusing on the “Community Paramedic Service” program as well as learning about the STS (Special Transportation Services) that they can offer.
Other services will include from Granite Falls Health—information on the new Granite Falls Health Clinic, Respiratory Therapy, Social Services, Granite Falls Care Center, Infusion/ Chemo-therapy Department, Emer-gency Room updates, Obstetrical Program, Laboratory and Radiology as well as learning information on the WOCN (Wound Ostomy Care Nurse) on options to treat wounds.
Other interesting items are the Senior Center is providing pulled pork sandwiches, veggies, milk and ice cream for a monetary cost. Come out to the Health Fair and check out all of the helpful and healthy living information available to you.
