Well we at least got half of the events in. Friday night the Ag Open got washed out after just a few holes. Thank you to all who came out and tried to get the round in, but it was just not to be. Thank you to the Chamber of Commerce and Granite Falls Bank.

Saturday was a better day for the Project Turnabout event. A big turnout of 104 golfers teed off in dense fog in the morning. The fog quickly lifted and a great day for golf soon followed. The winning team with a 55 (17 under par) was Levi Blue, Erich Blue, Jimmy Blue, and Chris Anderson. The co-ed division was won by Carol Beck, Kathy Lindemann, Bill Phinney, and Chad Reimer who carded a 69. Thank you to Mark Sannerund and the staff and volunteers for a great day.

The Senior Scramble is on Thursday mornings. All seniors are welcome. Registration is at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9:30. Last weeks winner was Mother Nature, who put up nearly eight inches of rain to drown the rest of the field.
