November 13 - 17 is National Education Association's 95th annual American Education Week celebration. The tagline for this year’s celebration is "Great Public Schools: A Basic Right and Our Responsibility." This represents NEA's vision of calling upon all Americans to do their part in making public schools great for every child, so that they can grow and achieve in the 21st century.

NEA's American Education Week presents all Americans with an opportunity to honor individuals who are making a difference in ensuring that every child receives a quality education. The week-long celebration spotlights the different people who are critical in building great public schools for the nation's 50 million K-12 students. When you see a staff member from YME, take a moment to stop and thank them for the important role they play in the lives of students.
