The Kilowatts traveled up to Atwater to play Paynesville in the first of their Regional games. In the top of the 2nd inning, Gredy Fuchs got a single that gave Zac Osendorf an opening to score a run for Paynesville.

Granite answered with a run in the bottom of the 4th to tie the game 1-1. In the bottom of the 5th inning, Zac Enevoldsen and Tyler Damman got on base, then Craig Listul strolled up to the plate and crushed a homerun, scoring three runs and putting the Kilowatts in the lead 4-1.

Paynesville wasn’t able to break back through the Kilowatts defense, ending the game in the top of the 9th with a Kilowatt victory 4-1.

Christen Kanten pitched for Granite. He threw nine innings, allowing five hits, one run, one error, two walks, and eight strikeouts. Zac Enevoldsen lead the Kilowatts with three hits, and one run. Tyler Dammann, Craig Listul, and Colten Vien also scored one run apiece.
