Jacquelyn Antonson, 62, of Granite Falls, died Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Luther Haven Nursing Home. Funeral services were held on Monday, July 1, 2019 at 11:00 am at Granite Falls Lutheran Church.
Jacquelyn Rae Antonson was born July 19, 1956. She was the first child of Arnold and Berdella Antonson. She was confirmed at Granite Falls Lutheran Church. Jackie graduated from the Granite Falls High School in 1975. Jackie passed away on June 26, 2019 at Luther Haven in Montevideo, MN. She fought a courageous battle after being diagnosed on May 2nd with stage 4 breast cancer. She was 62. As a young child, Jackie loved to camp, hike and fish with her family. They spent many summers in the Black Hills and Yellowstone Park. Jackie was filled with compassion for everyone. She was thoughtful, caring and passionate. She was always willing to listen and help out her family and friends. Jackie was always positive, no matter the circumstances, and saw the good in everything. She always had a smile on her face, even when facing the most difficult time in her life these past few months. On October 2, 1998, Jackie’s life changed when she brought into the world her beloved son, Colton. Jackie and Colton were inseparable. She always put Colton first. She dedicated herself to making sure Colton had everything he needed. Jackie was so proud when Colton graduated this May with an Associate in Applied Science degree as an electrician.
Jackie is survived by her son, Colton Antonson of Granite Falls, sister, Vicky (Jeff) Lewis of Granite Falls, brother, Mike (Sara) Antonson and their children Andrea (Jake) Fleishauer and Greg Antonson of Eau Claire, WI, as well as many family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Berdella. Arrangements are with the Wing-Bain Funeral Home of Granite Falls for Jacquelyn Antonson.
