A student film titled “Voices and Views of the River” was put together by the Yellow Medicine High School Videography class working side by side with Leah Cook, Granite Falls’ most recent Artist in Residence. The documentary film was recorded and produced by the videography class using professional equipment they were able to attain through a grant, including two photography drones. The film was originally screened at YME high school on November 22nd and then again on November 29th at The Rock during Cook’s farewell event. It took the students and Cook approximately two months from start to completion of the film. Photo by Cynthia Christians
