Timothy Sebring, 67, of Granite Falls passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022 at the Granite Falls Health Care Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 13 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wing-Bain Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Arrangements with Wing-Bain Funeral Home.
Timothy Edward Sebring, the son of Don Ordell and Thaisia Marie (Farrell) Sebring, was born on August 19, 1954 in Granite Falls. Tim was baptized and confirmed at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church of Granite Falls. Tim graduated from Granite Falls High School and attended the University of Minnesota, Waseca, studying agriculture.
Tim (Cowboy) lived in Granite Falls, Waseca, and Robbinsdale. Tim loved working on the farm, hunting, motorcycles, wrestling, traveling, joking around, and spending time with friends and family. He liked his cars, hosting bonfires, and had a great sense of humor. His favorite things included food and animals (especially his German Shephard Carmello). Tim was president of the class of 1973 in both his junior and senior year. He was also a state FFA officer. He loved working with people and was a leader. Tim sustained a traumatic brain injury in an automobile accident in 1977 at the age of 22. Since his injury, he has lived in the Granite Falls Manor except for 10 years at Trevilla of Robbinsdale, a nursing home for young people. Tim passed away at the Granite Falls Care Center on Monday, May 9, 2022, at the age of 67, while surrounded by family.
Tim is survived by his four sisters: Margaret (Remy) Khali, Mollie (Karl) Erickson, Mary Sebring and Monique Sebring; nieces and nephews: Ben (Katie) Khali, Chris (Tammy) Khali, Dan (Heather) Khali, Djamel (Kristen) Khali, Rosa (Kevin) Jarvis, Tressa Erickson, Ariel Pastore-Sebring, Isabel Avant and Stan Sebring; great-nieces and -nephews: Gavin, Jaxon, Thaisia, Nora, Emma, Kroy, Kruz, Mason, and Kassidy Khali, Kent and Thaisia (Daisy) Jarvis.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents Don and Thaisia Sebring of Granite Falls, and brother Philip Sebring, of Lincoln University, Pa.
