Two men kidnapped a Brockton woman on a nine-hour joyride around Boston and Cambridge last Thursday, police said.

The kidnappers allegedly did not assault or harm the victim during the bizarre car ride last Thursday, according to police reports.

The victim, a 30-year-old Brockton woman, told police she was at a Brockton bar at 1 p.m. on June 5. She met two men at the bar and left with them in their car at about 2 p.m., according to police reports.

The woman told police the two men drove her around Cambridge and Boston in their gold, four-door car for about nine hours. When she repeatedly asked to be taken back to Brockton, the suspects allegedly told her they would bring her back later and refused to let her get out of the car, according to police reports.

The suspects stopped the car once to buy gas, but the victim was not allowed to get out of the car, according to reports.

When the men stopped the car at Broadway and Portland Street at about 11 p.m., the victim hopped out of the car, but the suspects didn’t pursue her and she called police, according to reports.
